Maintain A Separate Chequing Account

It is suggested that you set up a separate chequing account, and use it solely for your Avena Business. Transact everything through this account in order to have a record of credits and debits.  Do not mix household or personal funds with your Avena business funds, as this may create confusion.

Design & Promote Your Personal Store Front

Your store front is your identity to your potential customers. Avena Originals wishes to give you the flexibility in designing and promoting your store front. There are certain rules and guidelines that you must follow for the protection of the company and our customers:

1. you may NOT promote or advertise other companies products.
2. you may NOT use any inappropriate words (eg: cure, treat or use foul language).
3. you may NOT make any claim regarding any Avena's products or services.
4. you may NOT guarantee any product, or promise any service provided by Avena Originals.

** Avena Originals withholds the right to refuse or remove any store front found in contravention of the the above rules, and/or not following good business practices.

Use of a business card can really help to promote your business. WIth Avena Originals Logo in color, as well as your name, phone number and member ID, our customizable business cards are professional and effective! Remember that your card goes on talking, even when you’re not there.

Read, Listen & Learn

Read as much as you can.  Benjamin Franklin said, “The one who does not read has no advantage over the one who cannot read.” You might also attend lectures, listen to tapes, and talk to successful leaders. This will build your confidence, and help you to help yourself. (You do not need a degree to share what you know, and people really don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!)
